Deep Deuce Director's Cut - Free Screening of Twister

Experience the dark side of nature” at this year’s free outdoor screening of the 1996 Oklahoma-based classic film, Twister (PG-13). The screening will take place in a new location at 24 NW 4th Street, just south of the Edward L. Gaylord Downtown YMCA. The evening will include a red carpet photo op, free movie snacks, and limited-edition giveaways while supplies last. Hot dogs, nachos, and more will be available to purchase from the Calihoma food truck from 7:30-9:00pm. The feature presentation will begin at approximately 8:30pm. The screening is open to all ages (and pets), and everyone is invited to grab their weather maps and cargo pants to attend this community event in Deep Deuce. Don’t forget to bring your own picnic blankets or lawn chairs. Outside food and drinks are welcome.

Busker Street Fair

Come one, come all to Busker Street Fair at Myriad Botanical Gardens on Friday, September 9, 6-9pm. Join us for a evening stroll through the Gardens while enjoying local beer and sweet treats. The evening will be buzzing with the sights and sounds of street performers and musicians galore. Stilt walkers will tower overhead and magicians will dazzle you with sleight of hand. Have your tarot cards read, get a classic caricature drawn, and more! Be sure to bring small change and bills to tip your favorite street performers.

During regular Second Saturdays, visitors will have the opportunity to create a take-home art project inspired by Oklahoma Contemporary exhibitions, join a family-friendly tour of the gallery and explore an Art Pack full of engaging activities for all ages. Full Moon Bike Ride

Bring your bike and meet up for a leisurely one-hour ride. Downtown routes are specifically planned by our good friend Steve Schlegel, Schlegel Inspections. Lights and helmets are required to participate. New t-shirts and water bottles will be available for purchase. Donations are suggested.
