The History
Initially developed during the 1900's oil boom, Edgemere Park was once home to many distinguished community leaders, business executives, and elected officials instrumental in the early growth of Oklahoma City. Breaking away from the grid-like community planning typical of the time period, the neighborhood sought to be a peaceful escape from the strain of urban life. Homes for sale in Edgemere Park are primarily preserved structures built in the first half of the 20th century, with few homes constructed after the 1940s. The unique historic architecture ranges from Art Deco and French Eclectic to Colonial Revival and Mission Spanish, giving home buyers the chance to own a piece of history with every purchase.
