Bricktown was established after the Land Run of 1889. In its early days, Bricktown was Oklahoma City's original warehouse and distribution center. Today, many aspects of the district remain historically preserved. To this day, Bricktown continues to be an essential and vibrant district of Downtown OKC connecting railroads, highways, locals and tourists.
